Who needs to make a trip to the cafe when you can make your favourite holiday drinks at home? This gingerbread latte has everything you love about gingerbread and java in one delightfully caffeinated drink.
Making a Gingerbread Latte is very easy. In a saucepan, heat some milk until it’s hot. Then, add some gingerbread syrup and stir until it’s well mixed in. Pour the mixture into a mug and top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
If you can’t steam milk at home, warm the milk slowly in a saucepan and froth the milk by shaking it in a tightly sealed jar, using a frother, or whisking thoroughly while heating. The gingerbread latte is one of the most popular drinks during the holiday season.
The drink consists of espresso, milk, and gingerbread syrup. The gingerbread syrup is made with sugar, molasses, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger. The combination of spices and sweetness in the syrup gives the drink a warm and cozy flavour perfect for winter.
