In 2018, USC tied for 20th on its list of schools offering the best computer science programs.

Computer security is offered as a specialization at the master’s degree level. Topics students can learn in this program include security technologies and enforcement, system management, statistical analysis of cyber-attacks, web technologies and robotics, and artificial intelligence.
