No More Weak Coffee
The problem with iced coffee is that, after a while, it ends up tasting watery and weak. That’s because the ice cubes melt over time, diluting your yummy caffeinated drink. However, you can maintain the taste and strength of your coffee with minimal effort. All you need is some pre-brewed coffee and an ice cube tray.
The day before you make your iced coffee, make sure to brew some extra java or save the leftovers. Let the coffee cool to room temperature before pouring it into an ice cube tray. Then leave the coffee in the freezer until it’s good and frozen.
When you’re ready to make your homemade iced coffee, brew another batch in your coffee maker. Let it cool a bit before pouring it into a glass or a to-go tumbler. Take the coffee cubes out of the freezer and add them to the brewed coffee. Depending on the size of your drink, around five cubes should do the trick.
