Besides The happiest Countries in The World 2021, the Happiness Report also looked at the places where people are the most miserable. Again, there were a few recurring motifs. The majority are in developing nations that have suffered from war, armed conflict, political instability, or natural disasters.

Afghanistanis this year’s World Happiness Report’s lowest-scoring country. The low life expectancy rate in Afghanistan and low GDP per capita are the main reasons for its low position. Zimbabwe is the country with the lowest happiness rating in the world. The report found that the people were unsatisfied with the country’s economic path, according to the Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition. Zimbabwe is undergoing its worst economic crisis in a decade.

The remaining countries on the list of the worlds five most unhappy are Rwanda, Botswana, and Lesotho.
