The results have arrived: Glassdoor has just released its ninth annual list of the greatest places to work. The list solely based on employee feedback covers organizations with 1,000 or more employees in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
Management consultancy Bain & Company takes the gold, moving up from second place last year. On top of providing its employees with essential benefits packages, the company also offers tuition backing, diversity and career training programs, sabbaticals, paid time off to volunteer.
Bain & Company, Google (#4) and Apple (#36) are the only three companies that have made a list for nine years. Beyond gourmet lunches and massage rooms, employees of these well-rated companies attribute a community of smart colleagues, a big mission, growth opportunities and significant benefits to the excellence of their employers.
