The results are in: Glassdoor recently announced its ninth annual list of best places to work. The ranking, which is entirely based on employee feedback, includes companies with 1,000-plus employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, and Germany.

Management consultancy Bain & Company takes the gold, moving up from second place last year. On top of providing its employees with essential benefits packages, the company also offers tuition backing, diversity and career training Programs, sabbaticals, paid time off to volunteer.

Bain & Company, Google (#4) and Apple (#36) are the only three companies that have made a list for all nine years. Beyond gourmet lunches and massage rooms, employees of these well-rated companies attribute a community of smart colleagues, a big mission, growth opportunities and significant benefits to the excellence of their employers.
