Simon Fraser University is a public research university located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. The university was founded in 1965 and named after Simon Fraser, a North West Company fur trader and explorer. It is the largest university in British Columbia by enrollment, with over 30,000 students.

The university has four campuses: the main campus in Burnaby, Surrey Campus, the Robson Square Campus, which is located in downtown Vancouver, and the Great Northern Way Campus, which is located in East Vancouver.

Simon Fraser University offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees through its eight faculties: Arts & Social Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Engineering Science, Health Sciences (which includes dentistry), Environment ( forestry), Science( mathematics/ statistics), and Communication Studies. I am an alumnus.
